A unique recreation of a Golden Dorado catch and release fish from Bolivia.
This unique replica, recreation has been brought to life from a series of photographs, measurements and detailed descriptions provided by the client.
The process starts with a hand crafted clay sculpture of which a mould is taken and cast in resin. A mixture of airbrushing and powder paints followed by a high gloss application completes the process and the fish is then mounted on a framed backboard.
The process also involves a great deal of research into the anatomy and locomotion of the Dorado in its environment in order to produce a realistic life-like piece of art.
